The Hall welcomes activities organised both by the Millport Town Hall team and by local groups, performers, and visiting organisations. From live music to community gatherings, the space is designed to bring people together.

Join us for an enchanting evening of music with acclaimed soprano Colleen Nicoll and tenor David Douglas as they perform beloved classics from opera, theatre, and film.
This special concert features highlights from Carmen, The Magic Flute, Dido and Aeneas, and iconic music from cinema, including The Mission’s stirring “Nella Fantasia”, beloved songs from West Side Story, and favourites from The Phantom of the Opera.
Adding an extra touch of theatrical magic, selected moments throughout the evening will be brought vividly to life through the beautiful artistry of Myette’s Puppets, creating a captivating visual experience to accompany the music.
As a special highlight, the concert also celebrates The Seal Woman, the Scots Opera Project’s 2024 International Opera Award-nominated production, with excerpts from this acclaimed work.

Come and experience an evening of Country, Americana and Folk influenced music by the much loved Scottish band Cateran.
Originally formed in 2014 by a group of seasoned musicians and friends who had previously played in many different bands and in many guises. The original idea was “chuck a couple of guitars in the car and look for some places to play”!
Now featuring six vocalists and with influences including the Eagles; Crosby Stills, Nash & Young and Runrig, their sound features warm, close blended harmonies, which underpin their melodic but meaningful song-writing style.
